I'm Yal and I specialize in finding the best school for your teen!
I'm a High School Search Consultant. My job is to help your teen find the right place to flourish and succeed. Based in Beit Shemesh, I work with families and schools throughout Israel.
After many years of searching for the best High Schools for each of my children, where they would thrive, be happy and succeed, I founded "Ya’aleh Consulting", a High School Search Consulting Agency based in Beit Shemesh.
I combine my background in Psychology and my personal, on-the-ground life-experiences, to support and enable families to properly understand the complicated High School system in Israel. I work with parents and teens and together we assess exactly what they are looking for and what they need in a school, I share what different schools offer, and navigate the application process with them.
Whether your child doesn’t “fit in the box”, is looking for increased academic challenges or extracurricular activities, is failing, struggling, or has been asked to leave their current school, I will help your child find the most suitable high school for them where they will not just succeed but also thrive in the most fitting educational environment for their needs.
I offer my services in person or, if you prefer, via web-based video conferencing, such as Zoom. This is particularly useful for families who are planning their upcoming Aliya and are looking for the best schools for their children. ​I am listed as a consultant on the Nefesh B’Nefesh website.
